Meet the Team
Meet the team behind Grace House.
The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the charity, and has overall legal responsibility for all that the charity does. Our Trustees are local people who volunteer for the role, and have the diverse range of skills and expertise required for running the charity.
Our small staff team promote and run the charity, maintain the building and grounds, and raise vital funds to make sure that children with complex disabilities, health needs and life limiting conditions have access to specialist short break care.
Our volunteers give their time, energy and enthusiasm to support us in all aspects of promoting and running the charity, maintaining the building, and raising vital funds. We could not do it without them. Interested in volunteering?
Our partners, Sunderland Care and Support, deliver a specialist, high quality short break (respite) care service with us in our building. They are the experts in providing care to a high standard, so we work in partnership with them to make Grace House a happy, safe, welcoming place.
