Penshaw View Training have pledged their support to Grace House and have ambitious plans to raise funds and awareness for the local charity.

PVT have jumped straight in to support with Senior Operations Manager Chris Breckon signing up for the London Marathon in April and Business Development Manager Jamie Pell taking on Dry January.

Corporate Fundraiser Laura Jane Forbes said “The team at Penshaw View Training are all really passionate about supporting Grace House and have already come up with some amazing ways to raise funds for us. We rely heavily on support from businesses like PVT and we are looking forward to working with the team in 2020.”

Director of Penshaw View Training, Philippa Brackon said: “We are passionate about helping charities, especially in our region. Penshaw View is a Sunderland-born family-ran business, so to coincide with our decision to remain in Sunderland, we really wanted to support a charity close to our hearts from our home city. What Grace House offer to families of children with complex difficulties is amazing, and over the last year particularly, we have really got to know more about Grace House and the work they do. It was a no-brainer to choose them as our 2020 charity of the year and we have already started fundraising and brainstorming some ideas!”

Grace House provide families with much needed short break and respite care for children with complex difficulties and autism. They provide a safe and fun home from home, for families to escape from everyday life at their centre in Southwick, Sunderland.

Penshaw View was born as a Health and Safety Consultancy with a commercial training arm in 2005 with one employee. Since then it has grown to what they are today… a national supplier of apprenticeships to both levy and non-levy clients and a head count of 32 with plans for further growth since their move to the BEAM on Sunderland’s Vaux Site. The company has also developed their Health and Safety Consultancy to offer more support regionally with courses ranging from asbestos, to IOSH, to fully accredited Mental Health First Aid at Work programs, and now have recently launched sister company and recruitment firm, Riverlutions. Riverlutions offers employment services to companies looking for management and senior positions in a whole host of industries with vacancies ranging from Marketing Manager to Charity CEO currently.
