Lesley-Ann Fox
Family Support Officer
Hi everyone.
I’m a local lass born and bred in Sunderland and I’m very proud of the city I get to call home. I am very passionate about helping my local community.
I started my working journey with children at 19 years old when I followed in the footsteps of my mam and went to work with young people with a diagnosis of Autism. I worked at NEAS (North East Autism Society) In both a residential and educational setting. I then moved and relocated to Manchester where I continued my work with children and families. Upon my return I was fortunate to be a part of the Autism Outreach Team where my knowledge continued to grow.
In my free time I like to spend my time with my partner and little girl going on play dates and enjoying duvet days with a Disney movie, snacks and ice cream.
My role as Family Support Officer at Grace House will see me continue my work with families, supporting them navigate the often-daunting social care system.
