Hello my name is Gabriel Bear I am a volunteer fundraiser for Grace House North East. How do I do my fund raising? I have my Grace House collecting box which goes with me on my travels. My first outing was December 2006 at Grace House Festival of light at Seaburn, I held an Angel raffle which raised £83.00. |
I was then invited to St Aldates Court Grindon a retirement complex the residents raised £71.00 from an Angel raffle. My third outing was to Castle Dene Court Hylton Castle another retirement complex where the residents raised £70.00 from my Angel raffle. I had my collecting box emptied the contents totalled £68.80 a big thank you to everyone who donated money to my box at the craft fairs I visit with Grace House Angels. Recently I visited Houghton Golf Club as well as St. Paul's Church, Ryhope for a lovely coffee morning. I also joined in the fun at the Race for Grace! My fund raising now totals £613.53. I want my funds to pay to equip the baby room at the hospice; will you help me with my fund raising? I love meeting people, I come supplied with my own bed and collecting box. Great North Run-Sunday 5th October
Run the world's biggest half marathon for Grace House. Now in it's 28th year starting in Newcastle and finishing in South Shields. Minimum age for entry is 17 years. Places available now! Contact the fundraising department on 0191 51663021
Great Women's Run-Sunday 15th June
Run for us in the great Women's Run which takes place for the third successive year on Sunday 15th June @ 10.45am. last year over 2,500 women took part in this popular event which takes place along Sunderland's coastline. This 10k event is suitable for women runners of all abilities, aged 15 years and above.

Junior Great Costal Run-Sunday 15th June
This 2.8km race is perfect for children of all abilites aged 8-14 years. It takes place on the same day as the Great Women's Run and is along the Sunderland coastline. All entrants receive a Great Run t-shirt, a inisher's medal and a goody bag at the finish line.

Great North Walk-Sunday 29th June
This 9 mile course welcomes thousands of walkers of all ages and abilities in the stunning surroundings of Herrington Country Park, Sunderland.
