The Lake District
The Lake District 10 Peaks Challenge is a demanding walking challenge taking in Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England and the iconic summits of Great Gable, Glaramara and Great End. The route is 13 miles long and has an ascent of 6200 feet.
This is a challenging hike over some very rough ground, over the highest mountains in England and starts and finishes in the beautiful Borrowdale valley.
This challenge will require a decent amount of training and a good level of fitness.
Registration is £50 and we ask that you raise a minimum of £250.

HAND SANITISER MADE BY WL DISTILLERY TO JOIN SCIENCE MUSEUM GROUP’S COLLECTION

A sample of hand sanitiser produced by an award-winning, North East based distillery, which switched production from gin to hand sanitiser at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, has been acquired by the Science Museum Group for its COVID-19 Collecting Project. The hand sanitiser will join other historic items in the collection to provide insights into the medical and scientific advancements of the last two years.
